Trial & billing
How does the free trial work?
Start a 7-day free trial to unlock all thirty of today's ranked sessions and the full archive. You won't be charged during the trial, and you can cancel any time before it ends to avoid the renewal charge.
Will I be charged automatically?
Yes. After the 7-day trial, membership renews automatically at the plan price you chose (monthly or annual) until you cancel. The exact renewal amount is shown before you start and on the billing page.
What happens if I don't like it?
Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing. If you're charged for your first paid period and change your mind, our refund page explains a 7-day money-back path on that first charge.
Is payment secure?
Checkout runs over an encrypted (SSL) connection. Until our subscription setup is fully connected, the checkout button shows a neutral notice rather than taking a payment.
Watching
Where can I watch?
Mediaplay is a web video site that works in any modern browser on desktop, tablet and phone. We don't currently claim a native app or smart-TV app — access is through the website.
Can I download sessions to watch offline?
Not at the moment. Mediaplay is a streaming web product; we don't offer offline downloads, and we won't claim a feature we haven't built.
Can I share my account?
Membership is intended for personal use by the account holder. Please see the Terms for the details on account sharing and acceptable use.
The daily list
How are the sessions selected and ranked?
Founder Lena Brandt and the Limassol curation team watch new and submitted live sessions and rank thirty of them by ear each day. It's human curation, not an automated recommendation feed.
When does the ranking refresh?
The list resets every day at 00:00 in your device's local timezone. The countdown on the page shows exactly how long until the next refresh.
Does the same session stay #1 forever?
No. The ranking is rebuilt fresh every day, so today's #1 makes way for a new top session at the next local-midnight reset.
Can I submit my own live session?
Yes — independent musicians can submit sessions for consideration through the Contact page. Submission doesn't guarantee placement; everything is reviewed and ranked by the curation team.
